134th S Traffic To Open Across Bangerter

Graphic announcing traffic shifts at 13400 South and 2700 West related to UDOT’s Bangerter South project.

Major traffic changes coming to 13400 South and Bangerter Highway

Beginning Monday, September 29, drivers will see major traffic shifts as UDOT opens new bridges at 13400 South and 2700 West.

13400 South

East/west traffic will reopen across Bangerter Highway (with lane restrictions). The northbound-Bangerter-to-westbound-13400-South continuous-flow intersection (CFI) turn will be permanently removed. Drivers will now exit to the right like a standard off-ramp and use the new signal at the bridge.

Northbound Bangerter traffic turning west onto 13400 South now uses a right off-ramp and a new signal at the bridge; the previous continuous-flow turn is removed. Work zones are shaded in orange and signal changes are marked.

2700 West

Bangerter Highway traffic will shift to the new freeway-style bridge over 2700 West. Left turns at 2700 West will no longer be allowed, and the traffic signal on Bangerter Highway will be removed.

Work zones and lane restrictions will remain in place, and temporary shifts are expected between Friday, September 26, and Monday, September 29, as crews remove barriers and signals.

The project is expected to be substantially complete by late October.
