Asphalt treatment
Herriman City is seeking bids for the construction of the Juniper Canyon Recreation Area Phase 3 Project, including construction of the Juniper Canyon Eastern Trailhead and Juniper Canyon multi-use trails. The project includes but is not limited to excavation and grading for parking lot and trails, including sloped hillsides, construction of asphalt trails, concrete curb/gutter, sidewalk, drive approach, ADA pedestrian ramps, walk ways, recycled asphalt parking lot (with HMA Paving as Bid Alternate), signage and striping, storm drainage, 2” water supply, 1” water supply, water line and hydrants for bike park, fire hydrant, vinyl privacy fence, asphalt tie in to existing road, stone dust/crusher fines surfacing, rock walls, site amenities (bike racks, bike repair stations, picnic tables, trash receptacles, landscape and sitting boulders), timber pole fence, trail gates, informational kiosk, pavilion installation - footings and site prep (owner supplied pavilion), restroom site prep, water supply, sewer service, electric service, radiant floor heat system, rough plumbing, final utility connections (owner supplied and delivered pre-fabricated CXT restroom), camera pole, site lighting, drainage culvert, natural landscape restoration and seeding, landscape plantings, rock mulch, weed barrier, and irrigation system.
Asphalt treatment
Herriman City is seeking bids for the 2026 Asphalt Preservation Treatment project. The scope of this project includes the application of approximately 600,000 SF GSB-Medium, 110,000 SF GSB-Heavy, 650,000 SF Microsurface, 850,000 SF of Scrub Seal, 925,000 SF ONYX products and the associated traffic control and restriping. The bidding process will be managed through the Utah Public Procurement Place website (Bonfire). Bidders may obtain Contract Documents by visiting “View Purchasing Information” at http://purchasing.utah.gov/. These documents will be made available on the website on Wednesday, April 15th 2026, at 4:00 pm. A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held Wednesday, April 29th 2026, at 11:00 am at City Hall, and the Bid Opening will be Tuesday May 12th, 2026, at 1:15 pm at Herriman City Hall.

Surplus Items
Vehicles and equipment will be disposed of in a manner that will maximize resale value and minimize surplus time. As vehicles and equipment are approved for surplus, value will be established. Herriman City will then post the surplus vehicles or equipment for sale. Bids are then submitted in a closed bid form. Generally, bids will be awarded to the highest bid and to get the best return for the City. All vehicles and equipment are sold in an “as is” “where is” “it is” in all respects without any warranty of any kind.
