Help Send a Taste of Home to Our Service Members

The South Valley Chamber is inviting the community to help support active-duty military personnel through its Taste of Home Care Packages service project. The goal is to assemble care packages filled with familiar snacks, treats, and handwritten messages of encouragement that remind service members they are appreciated and supported by those back home. Donations are being accepted now through August 26, with care packages assembled later this summer.

Residents can help in several ways:

• Purchase snacks and treats from the project registry
• Contribute to the care package fund
• Write a thank you note or complete a coloring page to include in a package
• Share the project with friends, family, and community groups
