Anthem Park Boulevard Closed for Rebuild Starting August 4

Closure between Main Street and Mountain View Corridor expected to last two weeks

Anthem Park Boulevard will close between Main Street and Mountain View Corridor beginning Monday, August 4, for a full roadway rebuild. The closure is anticipated to last about two weeks, with the road expected to reopen in mid-August.

Business access will be maintained but significantly impacted for those north of Anthem Park Blvd. Residents are encouraged to plan a few extra minutes and help support impacted stores, services, and restaurants during the closure.

Although the roadway is only about nine years old, it has experienced significant deterioration and now requires reconstruction. The project will involve removing the existing pavement, stabilizing the underlying road base with a cement mixture for long-term durability, and installing new asphalt. Final steps will include utility adjustments and fresh road striping before the roadway reopens.

Sidewalk and curb work was completed earlier in May and June to ensure the new pavement aligns with curb heights and complies with the latest federal ADA standards.

Residents with questions about the project may contact the contractor, Black Forest Paving Superintendent Ethan Weight, at 801-633-2236.
