Fall Cleanup Returns September 8-12

It’s almost time for Herriman’s annual Fall Cleanup, giving residents an opportunity to dispose of unwanted household items, green waste, and certain appliances. The cleanup event will take place September 8 through September 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Butterfield Park West Parking Lot (14200 S. 6400 W). During the event, the City’s RV dump station will be closed from September 8 through September 13.

Accepted items include general household waste, tree limbs and brush trimmings, as well as select household appliances such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, flat-screen TVs, and one mattress and box spring per postcard. Hazardous materials, tires, paint, batteries, refrigerators, dirt, concrete, and other prohibited items will not be accepted. Residents must present their Fall Cleanup postcard along with proof of Herriman residency at the entrance and are limited to two loads. Proof of residency must be a driver’s license or utility bill with a Herriman address, and vehicles are limited to a 1-ton pickup truck with trailer or smaller.
