The City Council has approved a master development agreement for a new Life Time Fitness, clearing the way for the athletic country club-style facility at the northeast corner of 12600 South and Mountain View Corridor.
The project is expected to include a 102,000-square-foot building with fitness equipment, group classes, training and recovery areas, an outdoor pool, and pickleball courts. The Herriman location would be Life Time’s second location in Utah.
The agreement allows for modifications to fencing, signage, and building materials, and includes a reduction in transportation impact fees tied to improvements along 12600 South. The Planning Commission granted subdivision and conditional use approval earlier in August, with the City Council’s action finalizing the development agreement.
Life Time has not yet announced its construction or opening timeline. More information about the company is available at lifetime.life.
