Public input invited — Parks, Recreation, Open Space and Trails, and Transportation master plans

Herriman City is refreshing two long-range master plans and is gathering community feedback on both at the same time.

Parks, Recreation, Open Space & Trails Master Plan

Residents may contribute by:

• Adding location-specific ideas or concerns on an interactive comment map;
• Completing a statistically valid survey that will be sent to a random sample of households (those who receive it are encouraged to respond); and
• Signing up for email updates on future open-house opportunities.

Transportation Master Plan

The Transportation update examines roadway capacity, intersection safety, and options for walking, biking, and other future infrastructure. Through the online portal at Herriman.gov/TransportationPlan, participants can:

• Review draft data and network concepts;
• Drop pins on an interactive map with location-specific comments; and
• Fill out a brief questionnaire to rank priorities and provide written feedback.

Why it matters

Input received through these tools will be reviewed by consultant teams and steering committees and combined with technical analysis to develop recommendations that will return for additional public review later this year. Participation now helps ensure Herriman’s future parks, trails, open spaces, and streets align with resources, standards, and community needs.
