Monument Park Now Open
Monument Park Now Open
Herriman residents have a new place to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors with the opening of Monument Park, a 7.47-acre community park developed through a partnership between Herriman City and the Olympia development. The new park adds another recreational destination to the growing west side of the city and provides amenities for residents of all ages.
Families can enjoy a large and unique playground, a reservable pavilion with picnic tables, and an on-site restroom facility. The park also features four pickleball courts for players of all skill levels and a spacious athletic field that can accommodate a variety of recreational activities. One of the park’s most distinctive features is a large American-themed mural that is currently being completed on-site and will serve as a prominent visual landmark within the park.
Monument Park is located at 12723 S 6400 W and is now open to the public. The project reflects the continued collaboration between the City and community development partners to provide new recreational opportunities and gathering spaces for Herriman residents as the city continues to grow.
