New Section of U-111 Open to Traffic

A new section of U-111 is now open to drivers as work continues on UDOT’s project in South Jordan and Herriman. Traffic previously using the old Bacchus Highway has shifted onto two new U-111 lanes beginning near South Jordan Parkway and extending north to 11800 South.

Drivers traveling through the area should be aware of the new traffic pattern and continue to follow posted signage as they become familiar with the configuration. Construction remains active in the area, so motorists should use caution, watch for crews and equipment, and plan for possible delays.

Residents and businesses near the project may also continue to experience construction noise and vibration as crews complete additional work. The opening of these lanes marks another step forward for the U-111 project as construction progresses.
