Rosecrest Project Open House
Rosecrest Pipeline and Repaving Project open house planned for May 14
A public open house for the Rosecrest Pipeline and Repaving Project will be held Thursday, May 14, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at Herriman City Hall, 5355 W. Main Street.
The Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District and Herriman City are holding the informational open house for residents to learn more about the project, view maps, and speak with representatives from Jordan Valley Water, Herriman City, the design team, and the construction contractor, VanCon.
Project overview
Construction is expected to begin in June and be fully completed by late 2027.
Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District is increasing regional water transmission capacity by installing a new 24-inch pipeline alongside an existing 16-inch pipeline that is experiencing capacity constraints due to regional growth. The new, larger pipeline will increase water capacity in Herriman, Riverton, and South Jordan.
After the underground pipeline work is finished, Rosecrest Road between 13400 South and Crown Rose Drive will be fully repaired and repaved.
