If competing for the top 1-3 places, you must meet the minimum dry weight requirement inside your backpack/ruck before anything else, including food and water. We recommend a ruck plate of some sort but it's ultimately up to you. Other options for weight include dumbbells, sandbags, or weight plates. Weight vests and ruck plate carriers are allowed. Men - 30 lbs / Women - 20 lbs / Kids 10 lbs (age 9-17) & 5 lbs (age 8 and under)
If not competing for the top 1-3 places, the weight you carry is up to you.
• The course will follow the same route as the 5K runners with participation at the same time
*Pack weight checks will begin at 7 AM at the starting line for those competing for top overall finishers
1-Mile Fun Run:
Parents may participate with their children.
Dogs:
Leashed dogs are ok for this race, but they must stay on a leash the entire time.
