The Fort Herriman PRCA Rodeo, celebrating 20 years of pro rodeo in Herriman, is back and will be held May 28-30, 2026, at W&M Butterfield Park (6212 West Butterfield Park Way, Herriman).

We are pleased to announce that Powder River Rodeo LLC will be the new stock contractor for the Fort Herriman PRCA Rodeo. Owned and managed by Hank and Lori Franzen, Powder River Rodeo is based in Riverton, Wyoming, and has been a prominent figure in professional rodeo since 1986. The company has received multiple honors, including the 2019 PRCA Remuda Award for dedication to raising quality livestock and a 2024 PRCA Stock Contracting Firm of the Year nomination. Their renowned breeding program has produced numerous award-winning bucking horses, such as Khadafy Skoal and Craig at Midnight, and a partnership with D&H Cattle Company provides bucking bulls you won't want to miss! Rodeo 101

Rodeo is a thrilling sport deeply rooted in cowboy tradition, evolving from rough-and-tumble beginnings to today's high-stakes, televised events. It consists of various competitions showcasing cowboy skills and grit. These videos will give viewers a better understanding of the rules and scoring of each event.
