Do I need to print my ticket or can I show it on my phone?
Tickets do not need to be printed. You may use your phone to show the ticket QR code from the rodeoticket.com ticket platform.
Are tickets available at the gate or do I need to buy them in advance?
We highly suggest you purchase tickets in advance at herrimanrodeo.com. Often, the rodeo will sell out before the day of the rodeo. Check the herrimanrodeo.com or the rodeo's social media channels on Facebook and Instagram for the latest ticket sales updates.
What is the refund policy?
No refunds will be issued for any reason other than a cancelation of the event.
Can I re-enter the event?
Yes, you may exit and re-enter the event with a hand stamped at the entrance/exit.
Is there a child ticket price or age limit for free entry?
Children ages 3 and older are required to have a ticket.
Parking & Transportation
Where is parking available?
Parking is available in the paved and dirt lots surrounding the arena at Butterfield Park (6212 West Butterfield Park Way). To enter the paved lots, enter the park from Butterfield Park Way. To enter the dirt lot, enter from 6400 W.
Does it cost money to park at Butterfield Park?
No, parking is free in all Butterfield Park parking lots.
Is there ADA-accessible parking?
Yes, ADA parking is available near the west entrance. Please enter from 6400 W and follow the signs to ADA parking.
Can I park overnight?
Parking overnight is available for contestants and rodeo officials only in the northwest portion of the dirt lot (enter from 64000 W).

Seating & Accessibility
Are seats assigned or general admission?
All seating is general admission; however, the premium seating general admission area features a limited capacity to ensure a more spaced-out seating experience along with the unique, close-up, view of the bucking chutes. The gates open at 5:30 PM.
Is there ADA-accessible seating available?
Yes, there is ADA-accessible seating available at both the south and west seating sections with access ramps.
Can I bring a seat cushion or blanket?
Yes, you may bring a seat cushion or blanket. Please be courteous of others when saving space for your group.
Food & Beverage
Is outside food or drink allowed inside?
No, outside food or drink is not allowed inside, except for water and water bottles
Food and drinks will be available inside from a variety of food trucks and vendors
Is alcohol sold at the rodeo?
Yes, alcohol is sold at the rodeo but it is not permitted to leave with a spectator following the rodeo.
Weather
If the weather is bad, will the event be canceled?
This is a rain-or-shine event. If lightning is present, the event will be postponed until it has cleared and spectators may be asked to take shelter in their vehicles or at the Rosecrest Pavilion on the east side of the park.
Photography & Media
May I take photos at the event?
You may take photos for personal use. For all other photo and media needs, please contact the Herriman City Communications Department by emailing communications@herriman.gov.
Lost & Found/Emergency Assistance
Lost items may be claimed at the information tent near the northwest area of the stands. Emergency assistance is also available in that area.
