2025 Municipal General Election

Herriman City will hold a non-partisan municipal general election on November 4, 2025, to elect a Mayor and two City Council positions. The election will be administered by Salt Lake County. The Mayoral position will be elected at-large to serve a four-year term. The City Council positions will include:

  • District 3 – four-year term
  • District 4 – two-year term (special election)

The special election for District 4 will fill the remaining two years of the former councilmember's term, which became vacant after a mid-term resignation.

Note: the City Council District 2 election has been canceled as only one resident filed for candidacy. Their four-year term will begin in January 2026.



Primary Election - District 3

Because more than two residents filed for candidacy, Herriman's City Council District 3 primary election will have a primary election, which will occur on August 12, 2025. The election will be administered by Salt Lake County: Election Information

Voter Registration

Online Application:

Visit the Online Voter Registration website to find information and to register. You need to have a current Utah Driver License or ID card in order to register using the online system. Your Online Voter Registration must be submitted 11 days prior to the upcoming election to be eligible to vote in that election.
